    家门还没出,作业就留来了。。。

    太意外了。Melinda发来了一封很长很长的信,费劲巴拉看完了,大概意思就是来了之后的一个月培训期间,要从语言学、教育学、社会学三个方面进行高强度锻炼,要求只说英语,了解美国本科生的状态,了解美国的文化。然后还留了些作业,让在学校网站找一些资料。这时我才发现自己好像很久没有为别人负责,兢兢业业工作的感觉了,散了太长时间啦。。。就先从这些作业开始吧:

    Using books and notes from your years of English study, as well as the best English dictionary you can find, (English only is best, but if your skills are not advanced enough to use a regular English dictionary, use a translation dictionary) review the following grammar topics:
    Use of: articles, prepositions, pronouns, regular and irregular verbs throughout the tenses, auxiliary verbs, modal auxiliary verbs, verb tenses, subjunctive mood, punctuation
    Sentence construction: agreement, dependent and independent clauses, if/then constructions, either/or and neither/nor constructions

    Review the following language vocabulary. It will be used extensively throughout the course:

    You should be able to express basic scientific theories and laws
    pertinent to your field of study verbally and in English; chemists
    should learn the Periodic Table in English.
